Mort is "dead" or "die" in French. In certain games, you can use the /mort chat command to kill your own character.

| Fortoresse | Initially this was used by player to escape from certain death while stat-padding, or when people ran out of ammo. However, after a certain update morting now counts as a death on a user's statistics, making it less common. |
Despite having death in the game, neither Bouboum, Nekodancer, nor Dead Maze support the use of mort.
